Fracture Clinic information

After attendance in A&E, your case will be reviewed by Trauma specialist team to make a decision with regards to your treatment. This review normally takes place within a few days of your attendance in ED.

If your case requires urgent attention, you will receive a phone call from the Fracture Clinic with further instructions. This phone call is likely to happen within a day or 2 of your injury.

Please note that not all injuries require urgent treatment. If your case is non-urgent, you will receive either a letter with instructions or a letter with an appointment for Fracture Clinic. The letter may take up to 2 weeks to arrive via Royal Mail.

If you have not heard within 14 days after attending A&E, please ring 0116 258 5218 option 1 (Trauma secretaries office). Please keep a pen and paper to hand.
